What are the benefits of an investment club

Working as a group enables us to offer a more rounded, more diverse, and well informed investment portfolio.Investing on your own can be a lonely & time consuming process. Hours of research, always sticking with the same type of investment. You can sometimes end up hanging onto to stock for sentimental reasons. The group creates a self governing democracy, when if a stock shows signs of slumping; there is no delay in pulling the sell trigger.On top of all this, it's also an excellent way to socialise with like-minded people. Increase your cross industry knowledge, and broaden your investment horizon.

What, when, how much?

The group is by invite only. If you are interested please get in touch with your investment experience, your industry knowledge, and anything else you feel will add value to the investment club.We meet every couple of months to discuss current holdings. We vote on whether to keep or sell shares. Each member is also expected to present new investment options they feel will add value to the portfolio.The monthly investment from each member is £25. £25 is then invested into stocks or investment opportunities that have been presented by its members. If no investment opportunity is voted on that month, the cash is held in a pot, and rolled over to the following month.
